Dr Parviz Talk - The effect of gluten on the nervous system in those suffering from Celiac, Gluten Intolerance and Autism. Monday 11 February - Dubai
Dr Parviz Rashvand (from Synergy clinic) will talk about gluten and the effects of gluten on the nervous system in those with Celiac and Gluten Intolerance.
He will also talk about the effects of gluten in the Autistic child and the Special Needs child.
Many autistic and Special needs children are helped by a gluten free diet, why is that so? Hopefully after this event we will all have a better understanding.
This is an evening event held at the Change Initiative in Al Barsha, we ask that you please do not bring children to this event.
There will be a charge of 20dhs which will include a drink only.

Info Event about Gluten Intolerance / Celiac Disease and other gastro intestinal issues that may (or may not) be gluten related.
Last year when we had our event with Dr Barrow we ran over time by a great degree, why? Because everyone was just so full of questions! So here is your chance to get them all answered!
We will have 2 Gastro Intestinal Doctors (Dr Rolef & Dr Klein), a Nutritionist and a Clinic Owner / Manager available to answer your questions.
Have you seen the show 'The Doctors' on MBC 4? Well, we are doing our own :))
In order to create a somewhat structured event, we do ask that you email or use the Facebook message function to supply your questions before hand.
This way we hope to avoid a ton of repeat questions / answers and make the event more enjoyable / informative for all.

Meeting at 7pm at Synergy Integrated Medical Center - MAP
Dr Parviz Rashvand will talk to us about Gluten Intolerance, Celiac disease and other allergies. We will talk about the differences between them, and discuss alternative ways to help people who are sufferers. There are many ways to use alternative medicine to help ease symptoms of Celiac disease and Gluten Intolerance. After the talk there will be plenty of time for questions and answers.

Organic Foods & Cafe Dubai Mall - 24 September 2011
We have taken all feedback given at the last event into account and changed things slightly. This time we will be based at the back of the store. We will meet at 10am, there will be coffee / tea and gluten free cakes and muffins available. We will have a coffee and get a chance to meet each other before the formal part of the event starts. We have Dr Peter Barrow - a leading Gastro intestinal doctor lined up to come and speak to us all about gastro intestinal problems linked to gluten and wheat. After his talk there will be some time for everyone to ask questions or just sit and chat. The price per person is 25dhs to be paid to OFC on the day. Location map here
